For sale is my 2002 LS Miata. Currently has 75,xxx miles. I have done a full inspection on everything. I operate MiataSource here in Elk River, MN where I specialize in all year Miata Parts/Service. www.miata-source.com
Engine runs perfectly with no problems at all. Does not leak or burn oil.
Transmission shifts perfect with no grinds or restriction entering or exiting gear.
Brake fluid looks fresh and no leaks. Pads and rotors have tons of life left.
Steering system and suspension all look great, does not pull left/right.
Exterior is a 9.5/10 with the exception of a few rock chips in the front and light scratch. It looks like its brand new. Just recently did a full detail including wash, clay, polish, sealant and wax.
Interior is 9.5/10 as well the driver seat has very minor wear on the bolster, but no tears or holes. Carpet is very clean with no stains. Dash has no cracks or sunfade. All the tan is still in very good condition.
Softtop is also in perfect shape with no rips or tears. Rear glass defrosts window works great. Also includes the tan tonneau cover.
Everyone that sees this car compliments its condition even when it's next to a 25k NA Miata. The previous owner of this car took very well care of it. I did a full inspection and since I purchased the car all it needed was a new battery and wash. This is the nicest Miata I have ever had out of 30+ Miatas I have had.
The history of this car is that it was purchased new and leased for the first year. After that, the second owner owned it since 2004. Then it reports it was for sale in June 2018. Then serviced shortly after it was serviced by the Subaru dealership. Then following this water damage was reported in October of 2018. Which is was then "totaled" and then sold. Which then I purchased it. Since my ownership, I have done an inspection and it needs nothing. My professional opinion on the water damage was that because the drain holes for the soft top were clogged it was not able to drain the water and overfilled the rain rail which caused it to leak under the carpet. The insulation was damp but that's the worst of it. I have pulled the insulation and waiting for replacements. I have pictures of under the carpet for those interested.
