94-05 Differential Brace Kit

94-05 Differential Brace Plates.  Fits 1.8 94-05 Differential Housings. 

Strengthen your factory differential housing with our weld-in braces. The factory housings have a relief notch in the passenger side. This notch is built in to allow for a breaking point to allow the housing to crack and won't allow you to continue driving. 

This break is intended to happen during a collision but has been known to happen even during normal racing conditions such as bumps, hard shifts or drafting situations. 

These braces are to be installed to strengthen and reduce the risk of the housing cracking. The passenger side is the more common weak point, but both sides can be welded. 

Spec Miata Legal. Uses 3/16" Aluminum. Welding service is available. Service includes customer sending in their differential housing to be repaired and/or braced.
